Westons Mills Group Home sponsors annual Easter egg hunt for community children
The weather was cloudy but dry for the fifth annual Easter egg hunt held Saturday, March 15 at the Westons Mills Group Home. About 40 people attended. More than 300 candy-filled eggs were hidden, along with gold and silver eggs for prizes.
The youth from the Group Home volunteered in various ways to make the event a success. Charles acted as ambassador, greeting and welcoming arrivals. Larry stood as safety look out, making sure children didn't wander into the street. Andre played the Easter Bunny.
The Westons Mills Group Home residents and staff enjoyed chicken wings later that day as thanks for their participation and help in making this a memorable and safe day.
