Chautauqua House
The Chautauqua House is a six-bed co-ed group home located in Falconer, NY. The Chautauqua House is run by New Directions Youth and Family Services, which helps youths with emotional and behavioral problems, along with their families. The Chautauqua House opened in 2002 as a collaboration between Chautauqua County and New Directions.

All residents receive:
- Individual counseling
- Family counseling
- Group treatment
- Educational, recreational and psychiatric services.
Other available services include:
- Full medical and dental services
- Drug and alcohol evaluations and counseling
The group home works to assist residents with job placement and in using community resources.
Independent living skills is a focus of the program. Residents participate in independent living groups and in Youth in Progress, a group working to improve the lives of children in group homes, foster homes and residential treatment facilities. The goal is to prepare residents to handle the challenge of living independently.
All youths referred to the Chautauqua House must be able to attend public school. They also must be prepared to live in a small group co-ed setting and be active participants in the community.
