Non-Secure Detention

Southern Tier Non-Secure Detention — provides 24-hour direct supervision for boys and girls who are awaiting action by a county’s Family Court. Our Non-Secure Detention program currently serves all eight counties of Western New York. The term "non-secure" refers to the fact that these are not locked facilities (i.e. jails). Security is assured through high staff-to-child ratios and full-time, in-sight supervision.
